Ajay Gupta founded Indus Management Group in 2002, intending to find a way to serve communities in the Greater Houston Area. This energy translated into his specialty of acquiring under-performing properties and revive them into successful, thriving communities. Having immigrated to the United States in 1984, Ajay relates with many hard-working men and women who have moved to Houston to build a better life for their families. These efforts extended to creating the Indus Cares Foundation- a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing programs and services to combat food insecurity, health illiteracy, and educational inequities.

Manu first started as a bookkeeper with Indus in 2013 to understand the business. Manu's focus has been on guiding the company growth strategy, increasing Indus’s footprint within the local and national arena. He has a talent for identifying important milestones for the company to reach and works diligently with company leadership to reach these goals. He has successfully closed over 900 million dollars in acquisitions since joining Indus. Manu serves on many boards, including the Houston Apartment Association, The Westchase District Advisory Board, the Gulfton Housing Adaptability Task Force, and the Houston Asian Chamber of Commerce. His gregarious and fun-loving energy helps recruit, develop and unite the company.
